So these shoes I bought are too small, and i had to pester the ebay seller to ship them in the first place so I'll be selling these for $30 plus $5 for shipping. Worn for about 30 sec to realize they are too tight in the toes for me. Size 7. People local to Buffalo can poke me for pick-up/delivery to save shipping.

Still looking for a last-minute addition to your costume wardrobe for Dragon*Con? Check this out: a complete pattern for Dr. Horrible’s lab coat! It’s not terribly difficult to make, and an experienced sewer can crank one out in less than a day.

Hi Folks!

I'm hoping to clear out some old things to make money and new space for new costumes! I hope someone will find something they like, and I'm not opposed to reasonable offers. :)

Links are to pertinent entries on my personal LJ - leave comments there if you are interested.

Thanks for looking!

Need a gown for the Buffy Prom or Yule Ball?

How about some belly dance costumes/accessories?

Or maybe a pirate hat or hair accessories?

Wanna show your fun, funky, puttin on the ritz side?

Thanks for looking, and see you all at Con!
Want to march in the D*C parade on Saturday morning, and/or just hang out with other Doctor Who/Torchwood/Sarah Jane Adventures costumers and cosplayers? I've got the info for you right here, under the cut. :)

For those of you attending this year's Dragoncon, I've just read on the Dragoncon Yahoogroups list that the Baymont hotel has been sold and that the new owners are not honoring any reservations already made for Dragoncon this year. Good luck on finding a new hotel! Do check the hotel listings at the D*C site itself, of course.

Sorry if this isn't allowed, I will remove it if need be.

A one of a kind monicle was STOLEN from BRUTE FORCE LEATHER at DRAGON*CON 2009. You may view an image of the monicle at http://www.chronotrack.org

This is not just some ordinary piece but a one of a kind monicle that was to be in featured in a Steampunk Exhibit at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford this October.

There is a $200.00 reward for its safe return. $500.00 for information that directly leads to the arrest of the thief.

Remember, it is a one of a kind piece. There will never be another. If you see someone wearing it they are definitely connected to the theft and a felony.

If you know anything about this item, email hrathmihre@yahoo.com

Feel free to pass the word along, the more we talk about this the more likely it will be found.

The British SF Media track at Dragoncon (or Brittrack, as it's nicknamed) will be hosting a panel for any and all costumers of British SF & fantasy media, whether it's Doctor Who, UFO, Blake's Seven, Robin Hood, Torchwood, The Tomorrow People, The Sarah Jane Adventures, or what have you. :)

Please attend in costume or bring a costume for presentation or just attend to pick up tips and tricks. We'll be mostly discussing costuming, but we also have an expert on the panel who has knitted many Fourth Doctor scarves. If you have knitted and/or are knitting a Fourth Doctor scarf or a Boomtown!Rose scarf, bring it along. :)

If you can attend the panel, just let us know by replying here, esp. if you are wearing or presenting a costume, let us know about the costume as well. :)

At the moment, and hopefully this will not change, the costume panel will be at 4 PM, Saturday, Sept. 5th, 2009, in the usual Brittrack place, the Valdosta Room, at the Sheraton Hotel.

Dragoncon takes place Sept. 4th - 7th, 2009, in Atlanta, GA, USA.

The Brittrack has Eric Roberts (the Master in the Doctor Who TV-movie) and Gareth David-Lloyd (Ianto Jones in Torchwood) as guests, as well as Terry Gilliam and many other wonderful guests.

See you at Dragoncon!
